fonti di produzione di elettricit\u00e0 nell&#8217;Unione Europea (circa il 22,1% della produzione totale nel 2022 secondo la Commissione Europea).  <a href=\"https:\/\/ue.delegfrance.org\/le-nucleaire-aujourd-hui-en-europe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rappresentanza permanente della Francia presso l&#8217;Unione europea<\/a>  con una capacit\u00e0 installata di quasi 1024 GW, rispetto al 38,5% delle energie rinnovabili e al 39,4% delle energie fossili).<\/p>\n<p>In Svizzera, secondo l&#8217;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.admin.ch\/gov\/fr\/accueil\/documentation\/communiques.msg-id-90221.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ufficio federale dell&#8217;<\/a> energia, nel 2021 l&#8217;energia nucleare rappresenter\u00e0 circa il 19% della produzione di elettricit\u00e0, con una capacit\u00e0 installata di quasi 3 GW, rispetto al 68% delle dighe idroelettriche, all&#8217;11% dell&#8217;energia solare e al 2% dell&#8217;energia fossile. In Francia, secondo <a href=\"https:\/\/bilan-electrique-2020.rte-france.com\/production-production-totale\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RTE<\/a>, rappresenter\u00e0 circa il 67% della produzione totale nel 2020, con una capacit\u00e0 installata di quasi 61 GW, rispetto al 13% delle dighe idroelettriche, all&#8217;8% dell&#8217;energia eolica, al 7,5% dell&#8217;energia fossile, al 2,5% dell&#8217;energia solare e al 2% della biomassa). Ha esperienza nello sviluppo di sistemi meccanici specifici per un Tokamak come quello in costruzione presso il sito ITER. L&#8217;obiettivo di ITER \u00e8 dimostrare che \u00e8 possibile convertire l&#8217;energia delle stelle (l&#8217;energia di fusione termonucleare che si verifica all&#8217;interno delle stelle, compreso il nostro Sole) a beneficio dell&#8217;umanit\u00e0, per produrre una fonte di energia rinnovabile, sostenibile e inesauribile per sostituire i combustibili fossili e limitare cos\u00ec il riscaldamento globale. L&#8217;obiettivo di ITER \u00e8 quello di estrarre l&#8217;energia da questa fusione (isotopi di idrogeno che producono elio) che, una volta industrializzato il processo, sar\u00e0 utilizzata per produrre calore ed elettricit\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p>Il DAES fornisce supporto per la progettazione e il dimensionamento di tali
